Ben Storms

Ben Storms is a Belgian designer and stonemason who tests the limits of traditional materials. Trained in stone carving, sculpture, and woodworking, he combines centuries-old craft techniques with digital fabrication methods like 3D scanning and CNC milling. His work challenges material expectations by making marble appear weightless or steel look soft. He creates forms that seem impossible in their chosen medium. Storms starts each project with raw materials like stone and metal, pushing them toward shapes that make viewers reconsider what these familiar substances can do.
