DHaus (formerly The DHaus Company) is an experimental architecture and design practice founded in 2010 by David Ben-Grunberg and Daniel Woolfson, based in Crouch Hill, North London. Both founders studied at the Manchester School of Architecture before completing Part III at Patel Taylor and Terry Farrell and Partners respectively. The studio is RIBA and ARB registered. DHaus is best known for its experimental approach to residential design, including the Dynamic DHaus concept, a mathematically adaptive house that changes shape in response to seasonal and astronomical conditions, and the Columbia Road house extension. The practice works across domestic projects, public buildings, and experimental design objects. Completed projects include The Arches in Dartmouth Park, Datum House in North London, and The Bull and Last pub and hotel in Highgate. Wallpaper has described the studio as 'a low-key, high-concept practice, specialising in modest but meticulous domestic spaces and product design, incorporating flexibility and transformability into every design.'
