GRAUX & BAEYENS architecten is an architecture and design studio founded in 2005 in Ghent, Belgium, by Koen Baeyens and Basile Graux. The practice works across contemporary architecture, interior design, and product design, realizing projects throughout Belgium ranging from single-family houses and office buildings to furniture and commercial interiors. The studio's design logic begins from a synergy between functions, seeking relationships that reinforce each other from urban scale down to the detail. Each project is developed through continuous questioning toward a single clear concept, with attention to light, proportion, functionality, and relationship to the surrounding environment. Key completed projects include House S-L in Ghent, an atelier for painter and sculptor Stief Desmet, a concrete house with stacked triangular terraces in Mechelen, and the renovation of a 1960s chalet in Destelbergen. Work has been published in Dezeen, ArchDaily, Designboom, and Detail.
