Halleroed

Halleroed is a Stockholm-based design studio founded in 1998 by Christian Halleröd, a trained cabinetmaker and designer, with architect Ruxandra Halleröd joining the practice several years later. The studio works primarily in retail interior design and is based in Stockholm but operates internationally across Los Angeles, London, New York, Paris, and Berlin. Clients include Acne Studios, Axel Arigato, Byredo, Mateus, and Totême. Natural stone, large timber surfaces, muted light, and precise geometric forms are characteristic of the studio's material language. Beyond retail, Halleroed has designed exhibitions at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, a public living room at the Nordic Museum, and interiors for offices, hotels, and private residences. Halleroed was named Decorator of the Year at the ELLE Decoration Swedish Design Awards in 2019.
