Lachlan Seegers Architect is a Sydney-based practice led by nominated architect Lachlan Seegers. The practice works on residential architecture and interior design, with projects concentrated across Sydney's inner suburbs and North Shore. The approach is grounded in careful response to site conditions, the precise calibration of light, and a commitment to distilling each project to a central spatial idea. Seegers describes the most common aspect of the work as reducing a design to the point where it could be read almost as a logo or diagram. Projects include Erskineville House, shortlisted for the 2022 Australian Interior Design Award, and Lane Cove House, which reinterprets the sawtooth roofline of the area's former industrial buildings to draw light through a multigenerational home. Work has been published in Wallpaper, Architecture AU, and The Local Project.
