Lovell Burton is a Melbourne-based architecture studio led by Stephanie Burton and Joseph Lovell, with Juan Popelka and Maddie Gundry, based in Fitzroy, Victoria. The practice works nationally across residential, commercial, cultural, and interior typologies, with a stated commitment to projects that are highly responsive to people and the environment within accessible budget frameworks. The studio's approach is optimistic and sustainability-led: passive environmental design principles are integrated from site selection through building envelope, services, and landscape. Key awards include a Victorian Architecture Award for Spring Hill House (2019) with National Architecture Award Commendation, Dezeen Awards Rural Category (2019), and a Victorian Architecture Award and National Architecture Award Commendation for Carlton Cottage (2025). Carlton Cottage also won the Houses Awards for Alterations & Additions under 200 Sqm in 2025. Work has been published in Houses magazine, Habitus, The Local Project, and Enki Magazine.
