Margaux Lafond is an interior designer based in New York and Paris. Born and raised in Paris, she studied interior architecture and furniture design at ESAG-Penninghen in Paris and the Rhode Island School of Design. After graduation she joined Gilles & Boissier in Paris, working on custom furniture design and fabrication for projects including the Baccarat Hotel and Ritz-Carlton Central Park. She then moved to New York to work with ASH on The Siren Hotel in Detroit, before joining Rafael de Cárdenas at Architecture At Large on residential and commercial projects including the Nordstrom NYC Flagship Store's Broadway Bar, a Rodarte exhibition for the NMWA in Washington DC, and private residences in New York, Seattle, and Aspen. She founded her own studio in 2020. Her work has been described as warm minimalism, combining natural materials, craftsmanship, vintage pieces, and accent objects to create interiors that reflect the owner's personality and lifestyle.
