San Francisco, California
Ryan Leidner Architecture is a San Francisco-based practice founded by Ryan Leidner, who holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design and an AB from Brown University. He is a registered architect in California and a member of the American Institute of Architects. The studio focuses on modern, custom, and minimalist residential design, with an approach grounded in site specificity, context, and close attention to craft and detail. A recurring area of work is the renovation and modernization of Eichler homes across the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley, treating the post-and-beam structural logic of these mid-century buildings as a foundation for contemporary spatial and material interventions. Other completed projects include a house and studio in the High Desert of southern California and a geometric home renovation in Bernal Heights, San Francisco. Work has been published in Dezeen, Dwell, and Architectural Digest.
