TBo is a New York-based design studio established by Thom Dalmas and Bretaigne Walliser in 2021. The practice works across architecture, interiors, and landscape design at many scales, with a focus on thoughtfully conceived spaces that carry a nuanced material presence and a clear sense of place. Bretaigne Walliser holds an M.Arch from The City University of New York City College and has taught graduate Architectural Design Studio and undergraduate History and Theory courses at City College, with guest critic appearances at Pratt, SVA, and Parsons. Thom Dalmas holds an M.Arch from CUNY City College and worked from 2009 to 2012 at the Cape Cod Modern House Trust, producing original drawings for the book Cape Cod Modern (Metropolis, 2011). The studio's projects range from residential extensions and townhouse renovations to landscape and commercial interiors, united by careful attention to material choice and construction method.
