Bindloss Dawes is an RIBA chartered architecture studio founded in 2018 by Oliver Bindloss and George Dawes, based in Bruton, Somerset, with a presence in London. Both founders trained and worked together at Jamie Fobert Architects before running a postgraduate studio at the Royal College of Art and establishing their own practice. George Dawes studied at Cambridge and the Bartlett, qualifying in 2003, with prior experience in New York, Taiwan, and Cairo. Oliver Bindloss studied at Oxford Brookes and Westminster, qualifying in 2009, and worked on award-winning houses including Levring House and Kettle's Yard while at Jamie Fobert Architects. The practice specializes in residential architecture and high-end retail and hospitality projects across the southwest of England and London, with completed work extending to France and the Caribbean. The studio is known for combining concrete, timber, and brick in ways that expose a building's structural logic rather than concealing it, and frequently collaborates with trusted designers and makers on interior schemes. Lordship Park was completed in collaboration with Still Life Story, the London interior design studio led by Emma Dahlman. Born and raised in Sweden, Dahlman draws on a background in retail and display design, focusing on warm, textural interiors grounded in natural materials, contrast between rough and refined surfaces, and a quiet attentiveness to a building's existing character. Bindloss Dawes's work has been published extensively in Dezeen, ArchDaily, and PLAIN Magazine.
