Birnam Wood Studio x Suna Bonometti

Birnam Wood Studio operates from New York, led by Brecht Gander. The studio collaborates with jewelry designer Suna Bonometti to produce furniture in metal, glass, and concrete. Recent work includes tables combining aluminum bases with terrazzo or glass tops, storage units in powder-coated steel, and seating with oxidized metal finishes. Production involves metal fabrication, concrete casting, and surface treatments like anodizing and chemical patinas. The U&I series uses colored concrete and brushed aluminum with mechanical fasteners. Work is produced in Brooklyn and sold through design galleries.
