Studio Andrew Trotter is a multidisciplinary studio founded in 2010 by Andrew Trotter, based in Barcelona, Spain. Andrew Trotter was born in the north of England, moved to Australia as a child, and studied interior design at the Queensland College of Art before returning to London and eventually settling in Barcelona. The studio works across architecture, interior design, product design, and design consultancy, with a particular concentration of built work in Puglia, Italy. Projects in the region include Masseria Moroseta, Casolare Scarani, Casa Maiora, Casa Soleto, Villa Cardo, and Borgo Gallana, among others. The studio's Puglian work is characterized by the use of local sandstone (tufo), vaulted construction, lime plaster, and bespoke locally made fixtures and furnishings. Work has been featured in Dezeen, ArchDaily, Remodelista, and Wallpaper.
