ONE WEEK's Pod Collection is a Shanghai studio's study in volume and softness. The range comes in 3 configurations: a single armless sofa, a single with armrests, and a 2-seat variant. Each shares the same organizing idea, a full, rounded profile that accommodates varied postures rather than fixing the body in a single correct position.
The armrests are recessed into the form rather than attached to its exterior, keeping the silhouette continuous and providing support without interrupting the overall roundness. Seat cushions use high-resilience foam, which compresses and returns more consistently than standard upholstery sponge, maintaining the sofa's profile over time. The generous dimensions across all models allow for the kind of informal seating, sideways, folded, stretched, that tighter proportions tend to prevent.
The collection is upholstered in Kvadrat's 3D knitted fabric, composed of 68% new wool, 22% nylon, and 10% polyester. The textile's elasticity works with the rounded form rather than pulling against it, and its soft hand sits in keeping with the sofa's overall character. Kvadrat's knitted construction also gives the surface a subtle texture that registers differently in different light conditions, adding material depth to what is otherwise a restrained formal exercise.
